This short and easy trail takes you through the forest down to the seaside. The trail runs past Isdammen, the dam with a traditional gapahuk shelter on its southern side. The trail offers a great view of the Bolsøy Bridge and Molde. You can walk over to the small island of Kuholmen at low tide.
Route description
From the car park by the sport hall Skålahallen, follow the path that runs west through the forest. When you reach the Isdammen, you can walk along both the northern and the sourthern side of this dam. The northern side is marked with the Stikk Ut sign. Follow the path until you reach the sea and continue further through the forest for about 100 metres to the Stikk Ut trail postbox.
Access and parking
From Molde: Follow National Road 64 (RV64) towards Åndalsnes. Turn off in the direction of the sports hall Skålahallen. Park your car by Skålahallen.
