This is a nice and easy trail that will quickly reward you with a great view. You will get a fantastic view over Freifjorden, Bergsøyfjorden, and Tingvollfjorden, and the mountains all around.

From the trail sign at the starting point, follow the solid tractor road uphill. You will walk north/east away from the top for a while before the tractor road takes a sharp west turn. Make sure you do not go west following a slightly worse tractor road further down the hillside. After you have walked west along the tractor road for quite a long time, walk onto a path that will take you up to the top. You will get a fantastic view from there if you are lucky with the weather. From Krifast: Drive along E39 in the direction of Tingvoll. At the junction, about 3 km after the floating bridge that connects Gjemnes and Tingvoll, turn off E39 to the right in the direction of Boksaspa. Follow the road and drive through the underground passage below E39. Continue for about 500 meters until you reach the starting point of the trail and the car park. From Tingvoll: Drive towards Kristiansund. Turn left in the direction of Bogsaspa about 2 km after you have passed the Fjord Centre. Follow the road below the underground passage so that you get to the northern side of E39 (the upper side). Continue for about 500 meters until you reach the starting point of the trail and the car park.
