The illuminated ski trail Tjønnmyran in Todalen is a hidden gem that ought to be discovered by more people. The trail is about 1.6 km long and covers gentle terrain. There is only one steep hill, which can be avoided if instead of making a loop, you follow the same way back to the starting point. This is why it is possible for the fastest in the family to take several rounds while the youngest follow at their own pace. At the starting point of the trail, there is also a nice picnic area with a “gapahuk” shelter, a place for a fire, and a toilet.

You will find a Stikk Ut trail postbox somewhere in the middle of the trail where you can turn and go back to the starting point. You will reach the trail postbox regardless of which direction you choose since this is a loop trail. For the flattest terrain, keep to the left when you come out of the car park.
Follow Todalsvegen Road in the direction of Todalen. After you cross the river near Bruset, continue driving further in following Markavegen. After about 2 km, take a right turn onto Dalavegen Road. Continue driving for about a kilometre and turn right when you see the signposted road up to Tjønnmyran. Leave your car at the marked car park here.

If the illumination of the ski trail is off when you get there, so you must find the switch on the box at the lamppost just above the car park. It will be on your left as you enter the ski trail. You have to manually switch on the light (the green button on the far left), but it will switch off automatically at 10:00 p.m.
