Stigen in Engesetdalen

Stigen (160 m a.s.l.) is the highest point of this trail. The entire trail covers a relatively moderate terrain with only a few steep ascents. You will walk on solid surface the entire time.

The hiking trail from Ånareset to Storegrinda goes through Stigen. You can also reach Stigen on skis following the ski trail, but there has to be a lot of snow. From Ånareset, the hiking trail follows forest roads for about 350 m and turns into a path for another 350 m until it reaches the top of Stigen. Then the path goes down towards the ski trail for the next 650 m. From there, the path follows the ski trail for 650 m until it reaches Storegrinda.

There are many parking spaces both in Ånareset and Storegrinda/near the ski trail.
