The trail starts with an ascent up to Lake Lunddalsvatnet. It runs through hilly terrain from the lake towards Rypa.
Follow the ski trail up the road for about 2 kilometres until you reach another trail that runs from Fursetfjellet. Turn left towards Lake Lunddalsvatnet. Keep to the right as you climb up the hill and pass the boom gate to Rypa. Follow the ski track all the way towards Rypa.
There is a small car park along the road that goes up towards Rypa. It is also possible to park your car by the chapel about 200 metres further north.
