Great paddling round with good accessibility along the north side of Rotevatnet lake. Easy to go ashore along the entire beach.
Start at the beach in Årneset. Follow along the shoreline along the north side of the water. It is easy to go ashore around the entire lake, which is comprised of woods and cultural landscape. Turn around when you reach "Bukta", a spot where water lilies fill the entire bay.

The north side of Rotevatnet lake is relatively sheltered apart from southwesterly winds. Note that Rotsethorn and the Voldafjord may give local wind directions that differ from the main wind direction stated in weather reports. The offshore breeze, Utrøna, from the east end of Rotevatnet may pick up and become windy.
