Magretlia

This illuminated ski trail covers the area of Magretlia Hill near the Nordmarka sports centre. The trail destination is one of the checkpoints included in the 2017/18 Stikk Ut skiing trails, and it is a great destination for an evening ski trip in the dark season. The ski trail covers gentle terrain, so both children, adults, and the elderly can enjoy it.

Turn into the Nordmarka sports centre parking area and drive forward as far as you can without driving between the buildings. You will find yourself in front of a large new wax cabin. On the outside of the cabin, you will find the starting point of the trail. Go straight ahead from here and follow the left side of the illuminated ski trail. After about 1.3 km, which will be around the highest point of the trail, you will see a Stikk Ut trail postbox on Margretlia. You can make your trip about 0.6 km shorter if instead of following the last section of the ski trail, you continue straight ahead towards the starting point when you come to the stadium area again.

The starting point of this trail is the Nordmarka sports centre located in Nordmarka between Bæverfjord and Skei in Surnadal Municipality. Free parking by the sports centre.
