The Kraftløypa trail takes you through diverse and easily accessible terrain between the villages of Eidsøra and Raudsand (Bersåshaugen). It is a family-friendly hike with many great view points closer to the top. This looped trail is about a 5 km long. It also allows you to take a detour all the way to Raudsand or Bersås along the way. Picnic benches and a “gapahuk” shelter are set up at the top.
Follow the waymarks from the Talset residential up into the forest. The path starts from a tractor road and climbs gently uphill. There will be some steeper climbing closer to the top. You can choose to continue following the hiking trail towards Raudsand instead of turning left up the marked path that leads to the “gapahuk” shelter and the picnic bench. You will get a great view towards Raudsand and Tingvollfjorden from the top. The path continues north through some rough terrain, and you can later choose to follow the hiking trail to Bersås. To follow the looped trail back to the start, follow the sign for Talset. The trail is waymarked with blue poles along the entire way.You can also choose to walk in the opposite direction, since it is possible to follow this looped trail in both directions.
Turn off County Road 62 (Fv62) about 500 metres east of the turnoff to Angvika/Toven junction. Drive along the road all the way up to the Talset residential area. Park your car next to the community centre Storsvingen Grendahus. Follow the road up to the residential area. Take the first turn to the left that is marked with blue poles. Follow the waymarks along the forest road that later turns into a path. You will follow a looped trail called Kraftløypa.
