This is a lovely and easy trail that follows an asphalt road from Dyrkorn to Kokarsteinen and offers a fjord view the entire time. The trail features a slight ascent. You will find the trail postbox by a small road exit before Ramskjerneset. You will see Kokarsteinen just after you drive around Ramskjerneset. The trail follows the old road which was replaced by the 1.5 km long Dyrkorn Tunnel in 2003. There is a steep path leading from Kokarsteinen down to the sea where you can go fishing. On the other side of the fjord, among other things, you will see the mountain farms of Skotet. If you look inwards towards the fjord, you will see Stordalsholmen. A monument of stones is installed at Kokarsteinen. It replaces the original Kokarsteinen which was a gigantic stone (please see the photo on the right). The top part of this stone had to be blasted and taken away because it stuck out over the road. Street food outlets are open at Kokarsteinen during summer months.
