It is possible to take a bus to the beginning of Vindøldalsvegen Road, but it would probably be difficult to find a suitable departure time on your way back.
When there is enough snow, the trail is groomed about once a week. If the illumination of the ski trail is off when you get there, you will find the switch (a black button) on the wall near the door to the ski lodge. The illumination is automatically switched off at 9:30 p.m., but you can easily switch it back on if you need it longer. Please follow the instructions on the poster by the door.
There is no need for a map.
Vindøldalsvegen is a toll road! You do not need to pay the toll fee if you are driving to the illuminated ski trail only, but please pay the regular fee at the boom gate if you are going further into the valley.
