Høgåsen from Kleven

Høgåsen is the highest peak on the island of Dimnøya. The view from the top is fantastic. You will see the entire Ulsteinvik, large parts of Herøy, and spot the bird island of Runde. You can enjoy a wonderful sunset or sunrise from here. The path to the top is well defined and clear.
The first half of the trail follows a clear path and goes through the forest. Once you come halfway up, you will get a good view of Garshol, Herøy and Ulsteinvik. The path is well defined and clear with a couple of waymarked junctions.
Drive to Dimnøya Island and continue in the direction of the Kleven Verft shipyard. The trail starts from a junction from which you can drive down to Kleven Verft. Park your car on the hillside near Kleven Verft.
