Helsetnakken via Vikesetra and Stølan (Krogsetstølen and Helsetstølen)

This trail offers an amazing 360-degree panoramic view. You will see Molde in the north, Sekken, Langfjorden and the Rauma mountains in the east, and Tresfjord, Skorgevik, Vestnes, the Tresfjord Bridge and Julsundet in the west.
The trail starts at the car park near Vikesetra, 320 m a.s.l. Walk to the highest point in Vikesetra and turn in the direction if Stølan (south/southwest). The path is clearly seen in the terrain. There are some marshy areas with wet sections along the trail. After 1.5 km, you will reach Stølane, 460 m a.s.l. The buildings in Stølan, which date back to the time of mountain farming, are taken good care of. Follow the marked path south towards Helsetnakken. The path is solid and dry. 2.9 km after the starting point, you will reach Mount Helsetnakken at 674 m a.s.l. Follow the same path back to the starting point.
The trail starts at the car park near the summer mountain farm Vikesetra.
The 2.8 km long farm road is the only road to Vikesetra. It is a toll road with a toll fee of NOK 40. The farm road begins just south of the junction between E136 and County Road 163 (FV163) in Vike. Turn off from FV163 near the Vikeelva River and follow the road signs.
For those who want to walk or cycle up to Vikesetra, there is a car park at the Hurtigbåt ferry terminal and next to the outdoor swimming area, Vike Friluftsbad.
There is a shorter hiking trail up to Vikesetra that starts from the illuminated ski trail in Gjermundnes. This trail is 500 metres shorter and the ascent is 50 metres smaller.

The local bus stops by the Hurtigbåt ferry terminal and Gjermundnes Upper Secondary School. The express bus stops by the bus bays along E136, south of Coop Marked Vikebukt and the junction in Gjermundnes.
Toll fee of NOK 40 is paid by cash or bank transfer in a small cabin by the boom gate.
