This hiking trail has a gradual and moderate ascent. Parts of it run through the forest. You can choose to go up or down via Vegaskiftet, which is one of the many place names that are signposted along the trail.
If you continue along the path after Gammelsetra, you will come to an area of mountain farms in the Kvennsetdalen Valley.
The hike starts at the first exit road after the bridge over the Rossåa River in Todalen. Walk up to the gravel pit and continue along the road on your right-hand side. When you see a sign that reads “Snevæn”, take the road on your right-hand side and follow it until it splits. Do not turn off the road at that junction. Follow the road until it ends. You will reach the final uphill climb after a long flat section of the trail. The path up to the right begins at the sign that reads “Fast Steinskrøå”. Follow this path all the way to Gammelsetra where you will find the trail postbox by a large stone.
Drive to Todalen and Todalshaugen. Take the first left turn after the bridge.
