From the top of Brattlihaugen Hill, you can see amazing views near the centre of Molde. There are several trenches and shooting posts from the Second World War at the top of the hill. You can easily reach the trail destination from the Kringsjå residential area, but we recommend that you start walking from the car park next to the artificial grass football pitch in Cecilienfryd. You will get a great view of fjords and mountains from the top. You can easily combine this trail with other Stikk Ut destinations nearby; for example the one called Liavegen which lies a bit further up the hill.
The trail starts from the car park next to the artificial grass football pitch in Cecilienfryd and goes along the stream up the hill. For those who want a longer hike, you can carry on following the same path all the way up to Varden. The trail is somewhat steep and has some wet patches. To get to Brattlihaugen, turn off to the right (signposted) after following the path for about 750 metres. Cross the stream and follow the ridge up to the top of Brattlihaugen. You will reach the top after walking on a nice and dry path for a couple of hundred metres. As you return, either walk the same way back or follow another path on the eastern side of the stream.
The destination of this trail is on the highest point of Brattlihaugen Hill.
Drive along Moldelivegen Road until you come to the artificial grass football pitch in Cecilienfryd (just east of the gardening centre Plantasjen). The entrance to the car park from Moldelivegen Road is on the western side of the football pitch.
You can park your car next to the artificial grass football pitch in Cecilienfryd with the entrance on its western side.
