Bettennesset, Betna in Halsa

This looped trail offers a great view over Skålvikfjorden which is nicely framed by the mountains of Tustna on the horizon. This is an easy hike with moderate terrain which is partly stroller-friendly. From the trail postbox, the gravel road changes into a path, and many people with baby carriages choose to turn around and walk back from here. This hiking trail is widely used by people of all ages.

The trail starts at the Øyan Stadium in Betna. Use the pedestrian subway under E39. Follow the walkway up towards the residential area. Carry on walking along the gravel road around Bettennesset. At some point the gravel road changes into a path. Once you come to the firewood storage, start walking the same way back to the car park.
