Amdamsetra

This scenic trail follows a farm road to Amdamsetra. You can extend your hike by walking further to Gamle Lisetsetra or Mount Snaufjellet.

Follow the farm road that runs up from Giskemosaga. Keep to the right at the first intersection. The turn to Amdamsetra is marked with a signpost (please see the photo). Turn off to the left. The mountain farm Amdamsetra was built around 1940. Farmhouses here lie side by side. The farm was in operation until around 1960.

Turn off from County Road 103 (FV103) near Giskemo on the southern side of the bridge over the Ørskogelva River. Follow the road to Giskemosaga and the timber stacking area. You will see a sign for Lisetsætra and other destinations. Park your car in Giskemosaga.
